Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

"Walla Walla Public School holds a very special place in our local community. We are proud to be carrying forward a tradition of high expectations in teaching and learning, together with a strong commitment to equity and excellence in public education.

Our highly skilled staff ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive personally, socially and academically. Small class sizes and rigorous, evidence-based academic programs play a key role in our students’ success. As a small school, we have the flexibility to meet the needs of all students, including those requiring additional support, and high potential and gifted students.

We offer a range of sporting, artistic, technology and other co-curricular opportunities to enable students to develop a wide range of interests and to pursue their passions. Our students enjoy excellent modern facilities, including spacious, well-appointed classrooms and library, an extensive garden and kitchen, outdoor learning area, imaginative play space for younger students, and 1:1 digital devices to support learning.

I invite you to explore our website to discover what makes our school special. We look forward to welcoming you into our community."

Ms Joanne Cameron, Principal of Walla Walla Public School
